College wins laurels at ‘Yuvatharangam’
The Government Women’s Degree and Post Graduate College in Karimnagar town has won four first prizes in the “Yuvatharangam”, an initiative to create excellence in higher education, by the Commissioner of College Education recently in Hyderabad.
The College bagged the State best women empowerment cell in recognition of its activities for the welfare of women students.
The college also bagged first prize in kho-kho, first prize in highest marks in BA and History subject respectively. College principal P. Ramesh received the awards from Chief Secretary P.K. Mohanty, according to an official release here today.
