The Philatelists Coimbatore will conduct a two-day ‘Stamp Expo 2014’, a philatelic exhibition at Gujarati Samaj, on January 4 and 5. According to a release, the exhibition is open to public and entry is free from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.Philatelists, philatelic dealers, and Post Office Philatelic Bureau, from all over India will be taking part.
There will also be a seminars on stamp collection and its benefits, quiz for schoolchildren. Students, who are interested in participating in the quiz, can contact 98422-18312 to register their names.
The Deaf Enabled Foundation will organise an inter-school painting and quiz competitions on December 7 to mark the ‘International Day of Persons with Disabilities’, a press release informed on Friday.
Around 110 children with hearing impairment from seven schools will participate in the event to be held at Jawahar Bal Bhavan, it said. Prize distribution will be on the same day at Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium.

Tarakeshwara Foundation and Parampara Trust will organise a three-day workshop on Sunyoga at Lawson’s Bay Colony from December 18 to 20. The workshop will be conducted by Sunyogi Umasankar of Universal Peace Centre, West Midnapore. It will consist of three sessions every day.
