EdCet to be held on June 2
Notification on March 5
The Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET) 2014, for admission into B.Ed. course in education colleges in the State, will be held at 42 cities and towns all over the State on June 2 and the ranks would be announced on June 23.
This was announced by Chairman of AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) L. Venugopal Reddy after a meeting of the EdCET 2014 committee here on Thursday.
The notification would be issued on March 5 and candidates could submit applications online from March 9. The last date for submitting applications is April 24 without fine and April 30 with a fine of Rs. 500.
Hall tickets could be downloaded from the EdCET 2014 website from May 19.
Key would be released on June 5 and objections would be received till June 12.
Syllabus and fee structure
EdCET 2014 would follow the syllabus (CCS at degree level) and pattern of test of EdCET 2013.
Examination fee of Rs. 150 can be paid at the eSeva and AP Online centres or through debit and credit cards, Convenor of EdCET 2014 Nimma Venkata Rao informed.
Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University and Chairman of EdCET 2014 G.S.N. Raju, Principal Secretary (higher education) Ajay Mishra, Vice-Chairman of APSCHE P. Vijay Prakash, Secretary of APSCHE K. Satish Reddy were also present.
