Have you given back to society?

We can give back to society by volunteering our time and our skills. We can donate to a charity. Research has shown that the good feelings you experience when helping others may be just as important to your health as exercise and a healthy diet. But it’s the smile from a child or thankful person that shows you’re really making a difference in someone’s life. And that’s the greatest feeling in the world.

Neha. Suresh, Class VIII, CMR NPS, Bangalore.

Every one in the society has social commitments and responsibilities, whether person is poor or rich. Education is the powerful weapon, so I must study and be part of a future generation that can bring good to the society. Nowadays, the world is full of people who believe in showing off. In my opinion, doing is better than talking. So I must change first then I can change the world.

Muhammad Riswan.S, Class XI, Sobha Icon HSS, Moolamkode

In my view, the only way to give back to the society is to become an icon in the society. When we became a model for the society, they will also try to follow us. I remember the golden words said by our Mahatma Gandhiji that “Be the change, you wish to see in the society”.

Pradeesh B,Class XI, Sobha Icon HSS, Moolamkode

Whenever I get promoted to a higher class, I give my old books to poor children so that they can save money. I also give free tuition classes to smaller children during summer vacation.

Yogesh Kathuniya ,Class XI, APS, Delhi Cantonment

I have not done any welfare to the society yet. But I would like to educate poor children and stop them from working. I would like to open orphanages and safeguard orphans and the elderly from kidnappers who force them to beg.
