Little Eye Labs…@ cloud nine
The social networking giant Facebook acquiring Bangalore-based Little Eye Labs has lit up the lives of this elderly couple who are more than proud of their son’s success.
With Facebook’s first take over in the country, a group of four came to limelight and hit the headlines in a jiffy. Lakshman Kakkirala from Rajahmundry is one among them and his parents, Kakkirala Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Murthy and Annapoorna, are on cloud nine.
Founded about a year ago by four Bangalore-based technology professionals — Giridhar Murthy, Kumar Rangarajan, Satyam Kandula and Lakshman Kakkirala, Little Eye Labs is backed by GSF and VenturEast Tenet Fund. “The entire team will move to Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California. From there, we’ll be able to leverage its infrastructure and help improve performance of their apps,” said Mr. Lakshman Kakkirala over phone.
Mr. Lakshman did his schooling in Model School. During his polytechnic final year, he wrote E-CET and secured first rank in the State. Then he joined Warangal Regional Engineering College (NIT). His journey started with prestigious IISC where Mr. Lakshman completed M.Tech., securing all India 8th rank. His skills were stimulated by his colleagues Giridhar, Kumar and Satyam, who were also his roommates. “With this acquisition, the Little Eye Labs will join forces with Facebook to take its mobile development to the next level,” added Mr. Lakshman.
