Last date for IGNOU entrance test January 20
The last date for applying for Indira Gandhi National Open University entrance test for admissions into MBA and other business administration programmes is January 20, according to a statement issued by IGNOU Regional Director S. Raja Rao.
Candidates have to qualify in the entrance examination ‘OPENMAT-XXXV’ to be held on February 23 for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA), Diploma in Management (DIM), Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM), Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM), Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM), Post-Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM), Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM), and Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Practice (PGDFMP).
Candidates must have graduated in any discipline with 50 per cent marks for general category and 45 per cent for reserved category, with three years (post-qualification) managerial/ supervisory/ professional experience or they must have a professional degree with 50 per cent marks in engineering/ medicine/ chartered accountancy (ICAI)/ cost and works accountancy (ICWAI)/ company secretary-ship (ICSI)/ law.
Student handbook and prospectus for management programme-2014 can be obtained from IGNOU Regional Centre at Ushodaya Junction, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam or any of the IGNOU Study Centres located in Dr. L. Bullayya College, Visakhapatnam, Ideal College, Kakinada, DNR College, Bhimavaram, Maharajah’s Post-Graduate College, Vizianagaram, by paying Rs.1,000 in cash at the respective sale counters. Filled-in forms must reach the Registrar (SED), IGNOU, on or before January 20.
