Arunodaya School boys shine
Boys of Bejawada Rajarao Arunodaya School at Vidyadharapuram have been selected to participate in a district-level science exhibition.
The winners, Rahul of 9 th class and Jignesh of 8th class, participated in the division-level exhibition in mathematics, science and environment-related subjects, held at Zilla Parishad Boys High School at Patamata.
Elaborating on HIV/AIDS through their exhibit, Rahul and Jignesh explained that AIDS was something that everybody should be talking about.
In 2012, nearly 16 lakh people succumbed to this dreadful virus and scores had come into the fold of this epidemic mainly because of ignorance. Though there was no vaccine yet to the virus, those afflicted with it must focus on nutritious food, exercise, personal hygiene and timely medication to ensure longevity of life, they said.
School Correspondent Bejawada Rajarao, science teacher D. Jayalakshmi and others complimented the boys.
