IIM-A organises FDP
A Faculty Development Programme (FDP) Alumni Conference on “Ethics & Social Responsibility of Business” was organised by Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmadabad at GITAM Institute of Management.
FDP is a 35 year old programme hosted by IIM-A which has trained 700 faculty members from various business schools in India.
The chief guest for the inaugural ceremony P.Madhusudan, Director-Finance, RINL addressed the gathering and enunciated the importance of ethics and corporate governance and how the company’s social responsibility decides the rise or fall of a business organization.
The dean of FDP programme G. Raghuram said that the importance of gender sensitivity and other important issues must form a part of management curriculum to make ethics in business a reality.
