Chances for entrepreneurs in U.K.
For those graduates having a promising idea that can be turned into a successful business, United Kingdom Trade and Investment launched a new programme
‘The Sirius Programme’ to provide financial support, visa endorsement, and a place on an accelerator programme.
Those proposing the idea can also keep all the equity in their new business.
The UK Trade & Investment initiative is being launched to help build successful companies and inspire the entrepreneurs to start businesses in UK, a press release said.
The 12 month programme provides financial support of £12,000 per person.
The business remains fully owned by the graduate teams and they will also have people on hand to support them throughout the 12 months to help them in acquiring clients, setting up business, and to provide mentoring.
Recent graduates or final year university students who have B.A. / B. Sc. Degrees, Master or Research degree programmes can take advantage of the initiative.
Last date to apply for the programme is January 15 and one can apply online at ‘www.siriusprogramme.com’ with complete business plan and their best video pitch.
