Magician Syam enters Limca Book of Records
Chinta Syamkumar, popular magician from pilgrim centre Ryali of Atreyapuram mandal in East Godavari district has entered Limca Book of World Records for his promotion of Telugu literature with the support of his magic talent.
The Editor of Limca Book of Records, Vijay Ghose who sent a framed certificate to Mr. Syam on Monday, congratulated him for his achievement that he had done during World Telugu Conference that was held in Tirupati. On that occasion Mr. Syam, a government school teacher in Ryali conducted “Desa Bhashalandu Telugu lessa” programme 12/12/2012 at 12 hours 12 minutes by involving 1,200 students of 12 different schools to write 12 x 12 = 144 Telugu letters using 12 Telugu alphabets to compose 12 Telugu slogans to promote Telugu among the children. Mr. Syam said that he made this wonder possible only with the support of his family members, school teachers and officials of the district. He also mentioned that he received the Limca Award on the occasion of National Education Day, which is memorable in life.
