MAD week celebrated
Make a Difference a student voluntary organisation in the city celebrated seven years of change for seven days by organising MAD week. They joined celebrations across 23 cities by spreading happiness.
The volunteers believed that happiness was contagious and did their best to transfer it to people across the city.
They distributed free hugs and high fives on the beach to share happiness with visitors, celebrated Diwali with the kids at PAPA Home, distributed thank you cards to the police and GVMC workers and get well soon cards to patients in the children’s ward in KGH. Volunteers across cities in the country also celebrated the annual MAD week with other such innovative ways of spreading happiness.
MAD is a platform that empowers youth to become change leaders who make positive social impact and create self sustaining communities.
