Members of ATM (Aim to Mould), an organisation formed by former students of Ideal Public School, Krishnalanka, conducted an essay writing competition for students of S.V.B (Sri Vidya Bharathi) Child Aid Foundation, a school for orphan kids, on the topic of ‘Samaikyandhra’. Principal G. Rama Krishna and secretary K. Narasimham gave away prizes to the winners.
A total of 48 students (Classes IX and X) from 12 schools participated in the essay-writing competition organised by Bala Vikas Foundation to mark United Nations Formation Day.
K. Lakshmi Praharshita (Class IX) of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan-Pendurthi, R. Jagadish (Class IX) of Bharathi English Medium School and Senapathi Ganesh (Class X) of ZP High School, Anakapalle, bagged the top three prizes.
A.V.S.S. Gayatri of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan-Pendurthi and Ch. Amruta of Bharathi English Medium School received consolation prizes. Prizes and certificates for the winners will be sent to the respective schools and all the participants will receive certificates, according to founder-secretary of BVF Narava Prakasa Rao.
